l1040866The project partners met in Oslo on the 24–26:th of April to have project workshop and a technical audit from the EU Commission.

Project officer Carlos Navas participated at the technical audit conducted by the external reviewers Kirk De Keukeelere and George Francis.

While the focus in the audit was the activities already completed, the focus in the work shop was the rest of the project. Especially the upcomming road tour.

Hydrogen Sweden ramps up the efforts in H2moves Scandinavia

Entering the final year of the project Hydrogen Sweden recruited Martin Svensson as Project Manager for Work Package 8 and 9: dissemination and the European Hydrogen Road Tour.

l1000500– My main motive for joining H2moves Scandinavia is the opportunity to be a part of the introduction of hydrogen cars, says Martin.

Martin Svensson, born in 1973, has a background in event planning. He worked at George P. Johnson in Stuttgart with the launch of the BMW 3 Series. During 10 months in 2005 he traveled around the globe responsible for the Ericsson Pavilion at the Volvo Ocean Race.

The event agency Nine Yards, winner of the price Agency of the year in Sweden, has been contracted for the logistics of the Road Tour.

– The European Hydrogen Road Tour will be a challenge but I’m confident that all the project partners will cooperate and make it a great event, he continues.

Before entering the project Martin was working full time with his own firm martineco focusing on Event Marketing and Eco Design.

– Of course, every project I enter is important on a professional level but the environmental potential of hydrogen and fuel cells is important to me on a deeper level, says Martin.

Together with Christine Apelgren and Jöran Fagerlund, recruited last summer, Martin Svensson and Hydrogen Sweden will ramp up the efforts in H2moves Scandinavia.
